Ekko Sighting - Thursday 08/06/2009 - Tuckahoe Park

Someone called to tell me she saw Ekko on Thursday (08/06/2009) at about 5:30 pm crossing Sycamore St. into Tuckahoe Park. Once in the park, she approached and called after him and tried to coax him, but he ran away. He appeared to have a leash still attached.

At the time, she did not realize it was Ekko.
She went away for the weekend and did not realize it was Ekko until she saw the flyer today.

Passing on a response from Sam (PGPT) upon learning about this sighting:

"Excellent. Now we have a correct timeline for our track and we have confirmation of the whole track up to where we stopped. We know where he was on Thursday evening and that it took him 48 hours to do that distance (probably due to the heat)... What we found out about Ekko on our track is that he really doesn't like woods much. He follows streets, sidewalks and paths mostly except when looking for water. So, it would follow, that if he did go into Tuckahoe Park, which I believe is dry, then he would shortly come out the other side onto a street. If he goes past the school and up a couple of blocks on Trinidad he would be out of postering area when he crossed Williamsburg Blvd. If he turns left out of Tuckahoe he could have followed 25th back across 66 and, again, out of postering area."

Current Flyer and Business cards are nice but way too busy. Profile photo is good.
Flyer looks like an advertisement. MORE WHITE space. People will ignore ads. People will look straight at it and ignore it because they think it is an ad. Car drivers can not see the information on the sign anyway from the road.
I used to work in advertising and my son has done research on user viewing behaviors.

Agreed...one of the volunteers did a simpler version with more white space, but did not have the blog address on it.

Nancy - can we put the other flier format on the blog?
